Haven't yet bought possibly the best next gen racer to date? Well you have a chance to redeem yourself with Criterion now planning to release the game over PSN in Fall for a cool $29.95. With all the updates already uploaded I might add.

Haven’t bought Burnout: Paradise yet? Have a Playstation 3, an internet connection, and $29.99 you’re willing to part with? Try to hold on to them until a to-be-determined date in the Fall, when Burnout: Paradise in its entirety will be available for download.

And when we say in its entirety, we mean it. It’s reportedly going to come with all the updates pre-loaded. Those of us who’ve owned Playstation 3 for a length of time are aware of how painfully annoying update after update can be, even if they do add significant features.

All I can really say is wow. I bet it's big though, pretty cheap as well.

Great price, but its probably going to be a huge download. Even if they do change somethings like have it upscaled instead.

Depending on the size, I may just get it. I'm below the 20 gig mark now so I have to keep my future RB downloads in mind, as well as Quest For Booty.

No offense to anyone who buys alot of games off the PSN, but I rather have physical copy of the game myself. Which I already have this game and tbh its freaking awesome. This game is already a success, and they continue making more stuff for it.

I haven't bought anything huge from the PSN but so far I haven't seen any drawbacks to ordering the games I have from the PSN. I have Superstardust, Pixel Junk Monsters, Pixel Junk Eden, some DLC.

If it's offered on a disc, I will look to that first, but this one sounds like it will include a lot of DLC, so it's tough decision.

I agree to some extent Final Blade, but I guess, disks to break, and if you did download it, it would be there for ever. That's also a very cheap price. If it does come to the UK it better be the same price, even though I have the normal one.

You also can't forget that when your systems flops and gets the RRoD or YLoD your system is dead and they replace the entire harddrive. Leaving you to rebuy all the games you lost. Thats the drawbacks of DLing them from the PSN.

No, If your xbox gets RROD, you keep the hardrive. Plus it saves to your download history, So if you delete it you can always download it for free again.

Where as if a disk breaks you have to buy the game again.

Disc's own downloads. If you're not careful or responsible with how you store your games, then you deserve it to be broken.

Disks suffer from ware and tare with normal use.

          Downloads don't have this problem.

But files can also corrupt. And Hard Drives also crash.

And you can't sell a download on eBay, or get a trade-in at EB Games lol.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that you can download games from your PSN you've already done so without paying extra. Could be wrong, and would have to ask someone in the PS3 forums who has been through it.

You don't ever pay twice for something you already downloaded. It's there in your download list in the store. And if your system craps out, just take out your hard drive or make a backup.
