New Ratchet And Clank Game Coming Fall 2009

A full length Ratchet and Clank is planned for a fall 2009 release. After completion of Ratchet and Clank: Quest For Booty, a message shows "the quest continues fall 2009". The game will most likely be released at this time. Insomniac as released a game every year so far since the PS3 has launched.

Spoiler alert! A new Ratchet & Clank game is coming next year. Upon completing Quest for Booty -- the downloadable Ratchet & Clank episode due on PSN next week -- 1UP was rewarded with ... more Ratchet & Clank; at least, the reassurance that there'll be a ninth installment in the franchise. The teaser (pictured above) supposedly appears after the credits roll and all but confirms Insomniac's intent to keep churning out sequels every other fall (the series is turning just "six" in November!), while popping out a Resistance game in the off years. Do we have an early front-runner for Joystiq's coveted award for Stalwart Excellency in the Face of Change?

    Good. Glad to hear it. R&C are really the only platforming games I still play, other than what's already been made. Its always an occasion when a new R&C game is released.

    Well, it was pretty much already known. Insomniac puts out games each year, and there's NO way they would have stopped the R&CF games, especially since this PSN one was a link between the two

    Not really a surprise but nice to know. The Northern Hemisphere's Fall is Australia's Spring isn't it? So around this time next year

    I really want a new Jak game, to be honest. I'd rather have that than another Ratchet game, but I'm not complaining. R&C rules.

      Yeah but Jak is a completely different company, so, you could possibly have both if ND decided to go with another Jak game sometime soon instead of Uncharted 2

        They said they haven't officially abandoned the series. I'm sure they're atleast in pre-pre-production of another Jak game. They've expressed interest in it. Problem is, coming up with a new idea since they can't do the Precursor thing anymore.

    Legendary, R&C was one of the reason's I had to get the Playstation 3 so I am so glad they are bringing even more to us =D

      No Quest for Booty is a Rachat and Clank game. They are two completl ydifferent series
