Seed Studios to announce PS3 exclusive at Leipzig

The Portuguese developer, Seed Studios announced to NeoGAF that they will be showing off their exclusive PS3 game at Leipzig. Seed Studios has made 3 DS titles in the past, and this will most likely be a PSN title.
Portuguese developer Seed Studios announced on the popular gaming forum NeoGAF their next project: a PS3 game to be revealed at Leipzig Games Convention. The developer has previously worked on three DS games -- this would be their first foray into a current generation home console game. Considering their history, it seems likely that their new project will be a PSN game. But who knows? Maybe we'll be quite surprised.

While nothing else is known about the game, we're glad to see more developers announcing new content for the PS3. At E3, surprise PSN games like Fat Princess caught the attention of gamers everywhere. We're hoping to unearth new gems at Leipzig as well.

You say that like disc games don't vastly outnumber PSN games. I don't see the problem.

And that's why Sony made a non-proprietary removable hard drive. They planned for the future and you can get a whole terabyte for under $200 now.

Have yet to see a Hard Drive with that much space and priced like that. Where's the retailers who sells that?

Get used to it. By the time the next-gen hits, all games will be downloadable.

That'd be great if Hard Drives were bigger. Don't get me wrong, we'd all be glad to not have to go to the store, but Hard Drives in consoles aren't exactly the best kind for all-downloadable games. Maybe if you put in a new Hard Drive, you could, but most people don't.

Not really Reaver. Disc mediums for games still will be supported for a long time, in fact something like that won't ever be the norm. Games will always be made on discs for who knows how long. Maybe until the next next generation of gaming.

Yeah, HDD sizes and Internet Speeds just aren't up to snuff when it comes to PS3 games and the like. Plus, a lot of people are slow to adapt to buying stuff online, let alone only having a digital copy. I LIKE my physical disks, and physical extras.....

Give it 20+ years, and maybe games for consoles (and PCs) will be DL only (or maybe the majority, I can see disk drives sticking around for even longer, for backwards compatability)....
