Razer has announced its latest products and tech at the Games Convention in Leipzig. First, is their new Malestrom Audio Engine (a virtual surround-sound system). This tech will be featured on its simultaneously-announced Megalodon headset. The headset is due out by the end of the year.

"Razer, the world's leading manufacturer of high-end precision gaming peripherals, has unveiled the Razer Maelstrom Audio Engine at Games Convention, Leipzig at Hall 4, B01. The Razer Maelstrom is a highly upgraded virtual surround sound system found in the Razer Megalodon, Razer's latest 7.1 surround sound gaming headset."

    Looks great, I love Razer's products. The Copperhead is definitely the best gaming mouse I've used.

    is this the one that emulates the other peoples voice in real time distance.

    Like if there in a hall it makes them echo and stuff, and if there far away there voice fades.

    But I think it is only compatibly with a few games.

    Not sure, but I am interested to check it out. I was not a huge fan of their original sound card/headset combo (think it was the Barracuda). Hopefully, these will be incredible.
