I can just 'hear' it now, people complaining about how they accidentally hit the (regular) buttons on the controller, and about how small the thing is. I prefer a regular USB keyboard, thank you very much. PS3 browser seems to have some problems recognizing typing as it is (especially with double-letters)....
Why on TOP of the controller? I think the Xbox 360 keypad (though a waste of money in my opinion) has the right idea, being away from the actual buttons. I have small hands as well, so for someone like me, the layout of the keypad in context to the rest of the controller seems cumbersome, to say the least.
Well, we can't be sure until it comes out, and people get to try it for themselves. I'd like to think they actually put time and money into research and testing before finalizing its design.
Still, I don't like it. I didn't care for the MS keypad (though to be honest, I never tried it). I'm sure this and the MS keypad will (do) work well enough, but nothing beats a proper keyboard (unless you can't type, and/or are really used to SMS texting)
Well, obviously nothing beats a proper keyboard, but are you really going to plug a keyboard into your console just because you want to message faster between games?
