Bleh. Does anyone else think that the location is terrible? I realize they couldn't do much else (except maybe making it hook shaped so the tip of the 'hook' jacks into the USB port).

I can just 'hear' it now, people complaining about how they accidentally hit the (regular) buttons on the controller, and about how small the thing is. I prefer a regular USB keyboard, thank you very much. PS3 browser seems to have some problems recognizing typing as it is (especially with double-letters)....

My biggest concern would be hitting L2 and R2 all the damn time, since I can't put the controller down without bumping them. Personally I would prefer a full blu-tooth keyboard but the only one I've found is way too big.

Yeah, I don't own a PS3, but while I was writing about this and staring at the pictures, I had the same thought.

Why on TOP of the controller? I think the Xbox 360 keypad (though a waste of money in my opinion) has the right idea, being away from the actual buttons. I have small hands as well, so for someone like me, the layout of the keypad in context to the rest of the controller seems cumbersome, to say the least.

Well, we can't be sure until it comes out, and people get to try it for themselves. I'd like to think they actually put time and money into research and testing before finalizing its design.

About the only way I can see it working well (enough), is if you shift your hands up, so they're gripping around the middle of the controller (the corner where the controller and keypad are together, being where you put the curve of your thumb and pointer finger).

Still, I don't like it. I didn't care for the MS keypad (though to be honest, I never tried it). I'm sure this and the MS keypad will (do) work well enough, but nothing beats a proper keyboard (unless you can't type, and/or are really used to SMS texting)

I've never tried the MS keypad either, though I've been tempted to purchase one on several occasions. I heard that it really makes texting a lot easier.

Well, obviously nothing beats a proper keyboard, but are you really going to plug a keyboard into your console just because you want to message faster between games?

Meh, I might grab it someday. I don't really need a keyboard right now, so it'll probably be a while before I even consider getting one of these.

I'll stick with my regular one thank you, even if it is a hassle sometimes.
