PSP-3000 Has Been Unveiled

Sony has finally revealed there will be an updated PSP-3000 released. At Leipzig today, they revealed the specs, and one pack will be bundled with Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters releasing on October 14 for $199.99. Sony will also be releasing 4GB pack that will come bundled with a 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, along with a voucher for the PSN title Everyday Shooter. A Core bundle pack will be available later this year for $169.99.

The PSP-3000 boasts a built-in microphone and better LCD screens.
The updated PSP with its new LCD Screen and Built-In Microphone will be included in the Ratchet and Clank PSP Entertainment Pack.

The Ratchet and Clank PSP Entertainment Pack which was originally announced at E3, will be available for $199.99 on October 14. The Pack includes:

    If only I had the budget for one. I think I'll just have to stick with my original PSP for a long while.

    It looks more expensive, the ring is thinner, and the edges are more rounded. AND it has a new Playstation button.

    Nice, I'll have to start saving up for one of these. How much nicer can they make their LCD screen though; enough to warrant this new model?

    Wow. The only factor that will decide whether i upgrade or not is whether it is compatible with wifi max and Xlink Kai...I hope so.
