Today Konami anoounced Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry will be releasing on the Nintendo DS.

The game has you in a school of magic and you must master spells because you want to get a Magician Liscense, and become a Master Wizard.

The game will be releasing in Europe in the first quarter of 2009.

Known as Tongari Bôshi in Japan and a mix between Animal Crossing and Harry Potter (not bad franchises to leech off), Konami has today confirmed that Enchanted FOlk and the School of Wizardry will be released in Europe for the Nintendo DS during the first quarter of 2009.

Set in a magic school, the game entails mastering a series of spells and incantations in order to achieve a Magician Licence and become Master Wizard. To this end, the player enrols in a special school where alongside over 100 fully interactive pupils, they must learn and implement key spells and use them wisely. Once a week you’ll be challenged puzzles which you’ll need to conquer in order to progress.

And in comes the Animal Crossing elements: Enchanted Folk allows you to befriend other pupils, take up hobbies, and even find a partner to shack up with - all in real time. Players can also share their characters with other gamers, importing them from one game world to another and back again, where they will return, hopefully, more cultured beings.

Looks pretty cool, I'll probably get it once it comes out.
