Logitech Announces New Force Feedback Wheel for Wii

Akira_EX | August 21, 2008 | News | Wii Gaming Tech/Hardware
Peripheral manufacturer Logitech has announced that they will be releasing the Wii's first force-feedback steering wheel, the Logitech Speed Force Wireless, in the US and Europe in November, for a retail price of $99.99 USD. The first game that will be compatible with the wheel is the upcoming Need for Speed Undercover from Electronic Arts, that will hit store shelves on November 12th.

The wheel will be wireless, communicating with the Wii via a wireless USB receiver that will be attached to the Wii. It can be stored in the wheel when not in use. The Logitech Speed Force Wireless wheel will also feature an extendable lap rest, eliminating the need for a table or desk.

I don't think this is going to sell very well at $100 USD.
Think about it how many good racing games does the Wii have now, maybe 2? And they're not even compatible with this thing.
Most people will be happy with Wii wheel attachment that is only $15 and works with all the racing games they already own.
