"Hillcrest Labs alleges that Nintendo violated patents relating to a handheld three-dimensonal pointing device."

"While Hillcrest Labs has a great deal of respect for Nintendo and the Wii, Hillcrest Labs believes that Nintendo is in clear violation of its patents and has taken this action to protect its intellectual property rights..."

God, not again. As if they didn't take enough shit from Anascape. I can't believe they're actually allowed to sue on patents so vague.

Hillcrest Labs says Nintendo's Wii Remote uses the same motion sensing technology their wheel-shaped controller does. They're suing because they believe that steps over the patent boundaries.

Every company gets sued one way or another. MS and Sony god sued to taking rumble from Immersion without asking.

And Nintendo isn't going to be safe from it either. Sounds like they did step over the patent boundaries.
