Tired of games of focusing too much on the online aspect of games and leaving the spiltscreen lacking? Luckily for those who think so Killzone 2 won't have that problem. No online? Then play with a large array of bots who are specifically designed to mimic human behaviour and have and will access all the abilities and bonuses you have. Just one more reason to get it I guess.

Many people were wondering whether bots will make it into Killzone 2. After reading gamepro’s multiplayer preview, they mention bots will be in the game..

Eric Boltjes, senior online designer confirmed that A.I bots will be available to both online and offline games. Whats better is the fact that these bots will mimic human behavior and use all special abilites just like a normal player would.

EXCELLENT news. Don't understand why so many games leave this option out.

Probably because it takes too much effort, i mean getting AI to mimic a human player in an online match without it feeling like you have a tag on your back and that each bot just homes in on that is tough.

I can recall early bots running into walls that you were on the other side of as you got close enough to them without seeing them. With todays AI it should be easier but it is still difficult trying to make offline bot multiplayer seem not like single player with no story.

This already sounds way too good as it is. With the diverse gameplay features involved in Multiplayer this feature is by far one of the best. Now that I think about it, the last time I played a bot filled game was in Unreal Tournament 3...in fact I do think that was the only thing that kept me playing the game.

This sounds pretty neat, can't wait to play this when it comes out.
