I sat in on the State of PC gaming discussion at GCDC Leipzig and someone this week told me PC gaming was dead. So I was prompted to compile the information I had from that session and present it to you here with some other Leipzig info I had. Now tell me PC gaming is dead.

According to the PCGA (PC Gaming Association) about 70% of all developers are working on PC titles at present. The PC is used more than and single console and have a far deeper market penetration than any of the other platforms. At present there are roughly 1 BILLION PCs in use around the world and they expect that number to double by 2015.
