Better start saving up, because October is going to be one hell of a month. Just announced that Dead Space will not be coming out on October 31st like it was first planned. But this is good, because it will be released 5 days earlier, on the 24th.

Electronic Arts today announced that its new sci-fi survival horror game Dead Space will now be coming to stores on October 24th for the PLAYSTATION 3 and the Xbox 360. The PC version’s date will remain October 31.

The decision to bring it to fans earlier was due to completing the game early after months of polishing.

I guess Halloween isn’t that appealing anymore...personally, the earlier we play it, the better!

Close to yeah. I think they mean shipping day is a week earlier, but it will be in stores 5 days earlier. It takes about a day or two for shipping.
