Guitar Hero fans going the extra mile or maybe too far?

SonXx | August 29, 2008 | News | Playstation 2
Guitar Hero fanatics are finally stacking up the competition. One Guitar Hero fan will be able to duke it out with the guitarists of the band "Kutless". Is this worth it though? One fan dropped out of high school to follow his Guitar Hero dreams. Still, it was his decision to drop out...
Although, that person who gets to play with Kutless gets a sweet deal.
And regardless of whether or not the challenger is successful at defeating Kutless's guitarists James Mead, Jon Micah Sumrall and Nick De Partee, he or she will still walk away with a pretty sweet prize – an autographed Guitar Hero III Les Paul guitar controller, featuring the signatures of the members of Kutless, as well as those of Questapalooza's other musical acts from the day, NeedToBreathe and Kirk Franklin

That is awesome. I do not want to drop out of school because of Guitar Hero though. The games are not that good.

The person who dropped out is a loser. I would never do that for a game.

Never heard of Kutless so it doesn't hold any real interest for me.

Guitar Hero was taken too far as soon as kids started posting videos of themselves "pwning" TTFAF on Expert.
