Resistance 2: Collectors Edition details revealed

With the box art finalized details of the goodies included in the Resistance 2 Collectors Edition have finally come into the light from Amazon. Included will be a bonus disk featuring behind the scenes footage, video commentary and a chronology video titled "Twisted History". But wait there's more (can't believe I just said that) There will also be an exclusive multiplayer skin, a art book and even a preview of the upcoming Resistance novel "The Gathering Storm". To top it all off comes a 5.5 figurine of a Chimera Hyrbid. I'm certainly going to be grabbing a copy.

Like a lot of CE versions of games these days, Resistance 2 will come with a bonus disc with behind-the-scenes footage, video commentary from Insomniac themselves, and a video dubbed “Twisted History” chronology video.

Of course, there’s more. It also comes with an exclusive multiplayer skin (HVAP Wraith), a double-sided art book ‘covering a war-torn America from two unique perspectives’, and even a sneak peek at the soon-to-happen Resistance novel “The Gathering Storm.” Yeah, they’re doing one too.

I want. I can do without the Interview type videos, but the figure, skin, art book, and preview of the novel? Do want!

I say CE's are a waste of money because they dont really add anything nice to the game, just extra videos & occasionally something like an action figure...
