Metallic Silver joins Nintendo DS color palette

It's been announced that next week, Nintendo DS fans will be able to pick up the new metallic silver color made for the handheld console. This color will join the nine other colors designed for the DS.

In some venues, silver is the color of second place. For Nintendo DS, silver is No. 1. Starting Sept. 7, Metallic Silver joins the Nintendo DS color palette. The new Metallic Silver version makes a nice addition to any tech collection, whether you're a gadget hipster or fashionista. Watch for the Metallic Silver DS to be featured in the new upcoming Nintendo DS print ad featuring actress Liv Tyler.

    Hey that's a picture of a fat DS. Anyway last weak a leaked Best Buy ad showed a silver lite, but nobody noticed because it was right next to the new 360 prices.

    Is it just me or does it look exactly the same as the Platinum colour?

    It's nothing that makes me want to rush out and buy a second DS, but since it's still making good sales I'm sure lots of children will cry to their parents until they get one.

    I still like my blue DS just fine. However, I think that it's good that Nintendo is trying to please their fans. Not everyone likes the same colors.

    Well look it up, Nintendo IS REALLY trying to plaese thier fans. Look up Nintendo DSi. New DS coming out After April 2009.
