Touch Darts released for Nintendo DS

The Hazard | September 02, 2008 | News | DS
It's been announced that Agetec's newest title, Touch Darts, has finally come out in stores for the DS. This is the only dart game which composes of single/multiplayer modes along with the DS' touch screen controls. The game contains a few challenges and mini-games.
"Touch Darts does a fantastic job of bringing the authentic dart experience to the player," says Mark Johnson, producer at Agetec. "With its controls specifically designed for Nintendo DS, the Touch Dart's gameplay faithfully recreates the feel and challenge that dart fanatics will be looking for. The developer, Full Fat, focused intently on getting the controls just right, and I think they nailed it."

Touch Darts includes a variety of modes and features. The four different modes: tournament, challenge, quickplay, and multiplayer, provide the player with hours of enjoyment. With the quickplay and multiplayer modes, up to four players can compete using a single cartridge. Tournament mode helps you hone your dart throwing skills with difficulty levels ranging from Rookie to Expert.

Interesting idea but I can't see it being very popular, I sadly don't feel compelled to buy it.

You know I'm sure I bought this game like a year ago called 'Sega Touch Darts' or something :S Unless I'm missing something and this is like a sequel or something but the game I played looked exactly like this one

Is there such a thing as a "dart fanatic"? I doubt I'll get this game.

I think they mean the drunks in your local bar. So I guess they must like playing the DS these days too.
