Cliff Bleszinski has revealed that Gears of Wars 2 is about 85-90% finished. He also said that this game won't be as grey; it will be a tad more colourful. Gears of War 2 releases on November 7th 2008.

Gears of War 2 is "85/90%" complete, series mastermind and PR pet Cliff Bleszinski has revealed.

The 360-exclusive sequel joins other first-party efforts Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, which is almost in the shops, and Fable II, which is (apparently) finished and 'gold'.

Speaking to Xbox World 360, Cliffy said, "We're basically at the 85/90% polish stage right now, doing some last minute optimisations.

"I boot the game up every morning and go through campaign mode, making sure it's all stitched together and batshit insane." Lovely.

Good to see its on track. Very rare these days that games stick to the path the developers announced in the beginning.

But good. Give me something to do this holiday season besides Resistence 2 and Rock Band 2.

Isn't 85% a little behind with only 2 months to go, even less really before printing?

That's for Epic to worry about. Besides, the final 10% is probably just cleaning up glitches and what not.

I think its for the fans to worry about too. Also They won't be able to fix every glitch in the game before they release it, especially due to the time they have.
