This PS3 RPG fell off the map after its presentation at the Tokyo Game Show last year, but it seems to have gotten alone just fine in the background, with this weeks Famitsu stating that the game is set for release in Japan on December the 11th.

With a release date so soon I'm sure we can expect a major update at this years Tokyo Game Show.

[White Knight Story Forum]

We were getting worried about White Knight Story. The yummy PS3-exclusive RPG from Level-5 looked incredible ... but then it disappeared off everyone's radars since its last showing at TGS 2007. Looks like it's a lot farther along than any of us could've imagined, with the RPG getting a Japanese release later this year. Famitsu reports that White Knight Story will be available in Japan on December 11th, just in time for the holiday season.

We're eagerly awaiting TGS next month so we can get our grimey Western hands on the upcoming game. With the game nearing completion, we're hoping to be very impressed by what we see.

Looks like it's going to be a fun game to play by the screenshots. It seems like a more advance game of dynasty warriors.

with most JRPG we have to wait 6 or 7 months for US or EU release
but with sony as the publisher that time maybe cut in half or shorter since this game has been in development for at lest 6 years

6 years? DAMN!! I figured we wouldnt get it at that date, but i try to be an optimist. This was the one rpg that sounded interesting and didnt have the words final and/or fantasy in it
