Dead Space will release ANOTHER week early

Originally set for a Halloween release date, it was pushed up a week early. Set for and October 24th release date. Well some more good news has come, and it has been pushed up another week for NA. It will release on October 14th. If they keep this up, the game will release before October.

Electronic Arts is announcing that Dead Space, their creepy horror-in-space shooter, will be arriving on October 14, a week earlier than their previous release date for the game.

Originally scheduled to ship on October 21st, the award-winning action/adventure game, Dead Space will ship for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 on October 14, 2008 giving players a full 17 days before Halloween to step out into space for the fright of their lives. The development team at EA Redwood Shores is getting into the Halloween spirit early this year so fans can celebrate with Dead Space without cutting into their trick or treat time.

    Halloween is a good time to release a horror game. It'd be nice if they kept it and added on a bit more polish.

    Can't complain about getting it early though.

    I think they are pushing the release date so hard just because of all the other huge games coming out in october.

      That, or because they are finishing earlier then they expected. Like in the other article the pushed it up a week earlier because they where going to finish a week earlier.

    well little big planet for ps3 and fable 2 for 360 to big console exclusives id push it forward to because most people wont buy it after the release of those

    Er, what makes you think that releasing before will solve anything, Newcloud? People will probably want to save their money for the game that they truly want.

      theres more chance of me getting it now but with its other release date there was no chance because theres 3 game i want on the 24th and i wouldn't buy it after because id be playing them
      plus i think this game is underhyped and agent 2 exclusives it wouldnt stand a chance
