The release date for Call of Duty: World at War has been announced by Activision and Treyarch, for November 11th 2008 for North America. The game will be released on the PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, and PC.

Activision and Treyarch have confirmed that the highly anticipated FPS Call of Duty: World at War will be released across North America on November 11, 2008.

Call of Duty: World at War returns to the familiar World War II setting depicted in the first three titles of the critically acclaimed FPS series, with the game set predominantly in the Pacific theatre and Eastern front of the conflict.

From what we’ve seen the game appears to be shaping up rather nicely, though it remains to be seen whether or not it has the stones to top Infinity Ward’s decidedly brilliant Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Definently. We have Resistance 2, Gears 2, and CoD5. I'm pretty sure LBP is in there too.

I don't feel the multiplayer will be better than CoD4, just because of the shift from modern weapons back to weapons of pastime.
I do, however, feel that the campaign will still be very promising.

This is the 4th release article for World At War. And October will be the busiest month for me. I have 8 games pre-ordered for that month!
