EA has delayed Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (the game) until Summer 2009, so that it can be released at the same time as the movie, which also had been delayed to summer 2009. Hopefully the game and movie live up to the book.
The Harry Potter And the Half-Blood Prince game has been delayed to "summer 2009", EA has said.
This brings the game in line with the book and film, which were both planned for release this year but were last month also pushed back to summer '09.
EA promises it'll be worth the wait, though.
"We are creating an immersive game experience that Potter fans around the world will really enjoy playing as they fly and duel their way through the story of the film. The game will feature new Wii gestures and increased gameplay capabilities across all of the platforms," said Robert Nashak, Vice President EA Casual Studios.
