Well turn that frown upside down, because Major Nelson reports in blog post (via Joystiq) that Microsoft is cutting DLC prices in an "Extended Play Download Days" promotion.

The full list of updated price points is available above. The new prices are in effect now, but unfortunately they aren't permanent. The DLC pricing will revert to its old, more expensive ways at the end of October, so get it while it's cheap.
