If you remember, Capcom had a lot of games for the NES and the SNES, and they aren't on the VC, and probably aren't ever going to be. The reason is that Capcom had done many of those games with Disney, and there would be a big licensing issue if they wanted to port them over.

Many will recall that Capcom has numerous classic titles from the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Super Nintendo as well, yet there are specific games from that era that have still yet to make their way onto the Virtual Console retro download service. The reason behind this has now been revealed.

Unfortunately, because Capcom teamed up with Disney for many NES, SNES and Mega Drive classics, such as Duck Tales, Chip ‘N Dale, Aladdin, DarkWing Duck and TaleSpin, it means that there is a massive licensing headache to deal with that will probably mean the likelihood of such best sellers appearing on Virtual Console are slim to none.

Mickey's Magical Quest was *bleep*ing awesome.

To what end? Disney would likely want a peice of the action too. So Capcom would either have to pay royalties or a licensing fee. In the end it probably wouldn't be worth the cost to Capcom. And companies aren't in the habit of doing things to please the fans for free.

I don't really care about the VC, however that means PSN and XBLM won't get them.
