Register to vote and be polled on Xbox Live Today

Deathsythe | September 11, 2008 | News | XBOX 360 Company Misc
As previously announced, Microsoft has launched their campaign earlier this week to allow users to register to vote and contribute to polls via Xbox Live. And you thought dealing with punk 12 year olds trash talking on Halo 3 was bad - just wait until it gets political.

Voting/Polling will be done by users downloading gamerpics of either candidate.

Also- by participating- you are entered in the running for a chance to win a Gibson Guitar.
Results will be posted next week on Xbox.com, and everyone who downloads one of the gamerpics is entered into a drawing to win a Gibson guitar. The poll will be fun to watch, but the ability to register through your 360 is the part that's worth lauding. "With only two U.S. states providing online voter registration (Arizona and Washington, respectively), Xbox LIVE is going where young voters are, online—and simplifying the registration process," Microsoft stated.
