Impressive list- I am quite excited about Stranglehold - that is going to be wicked fun to play.

Well - there was never any doubt for me - but I think this list will sell anyone else who is on the fence.

I'll pick-up this and force my roommate to get Rockband 2 and we will be on our way!

Not a shabby line up right there. Not enough for me to get it instead of/ as well as Rock Band 2 mind you.

    No Guns N' Roses?!
I did see some good ones:

The Allman Brothers Band - “Ramblin' Man”
    Anouk - “Good God”
    The Eagles - “Hotel California”
Lynyrd Skynyrd - “Sweet Home Alabama (Live)”
Van Halen - “Hot For Teacher”
Willie Nelson - “On The Road Again”

Did you know the Allman Brothers came from my city?

You live in Macon, GA? Or am I thinking of a different band that came from there? Anyways, my grandparents live there lol.

A few good songs there but c'mon, no Pantera again? They always disappoint me here...

Sonata Arctica would really be a great choice for a GH game, shame there is never a mention of them though =[

That is a really nice list of songs. I might buy it.

That list is very damn average on the 'metal' front.

Looks like the GH setlist has been 'rock band'ized'

    Yay for BFMV though

Not yay for no Pantera or Iron Maiden

They did it last year too that the game itself lacked metal yet they added quite a few metal/metalcore tracks in as paid DLC, i can see this being the case again though for those that want some thrash you can still buy the new Metallica album for GH4 so thats all good.

Metal Bands for WT (that aren't at the moment):

    Pantera
    Iron Maiden
    Megadeth
    Judas Priest
    Trivium
    Atreyu
    Symphony X
    Sonata Arctica
    Stratovarius
    Children of Bodom
    Amon Amarth
    In Flames
    A7x
    All that Remains
    Slipknot
    Disturbed

And that is only the well known ones!

Maybe they're saving them up for GH:Metal

I skipped the whole Rock Band experience. I did play it at one our company BBQ's though and I <3 the drums. I can't decide which to get Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero

hmm darn, wikipedia before had listed a Travis Barker song..doesn't seem to be on the final set list, that sucks D:

I can't wait for this even more now, and now I don't need to buy BYOB in Rock Band to play it, now I can play it on the good game.

By the way: Will this work with the old contollers that came with Guitar Hero III?

Yep, it is fully backwards compatibilty. So your Les will work if your too tight to buy some new plastic goodness

Its a bit complicated the other way round though.
