Blizzard has announced World of Warcraft players can now transfer their characters from a Player vs. Environment server to a Player vs. Player server for $25.

"WoW Subscribers were previously unable to move their characters from a server that pitted them against AI opponents realm to one that also allowed player vs. player combat, though paid transfers have been around for a while.

'As the state of the game has matured substantially since the inception of Paid Character Transfers, we will now be allowing PvE-to-PvP transfers on a full-time basis to provide players with more mobility and freedom to easily play with their friends,' the company stated on their official forum."

I don't play WoW, but what I got from a few buddies that do is basically this:
It is much easier to level up against the AI than it is against another player- so essentially this is making the game easier for the PvE players and skewing it in their favor.

WoW is going to the way of letting new people faceroll on their keyboard and still level up fast, its crazy easy to level even on a PvP server.

Yeah, I know it's not fair and it might bring in a lot of pvp newbs to the pvp servers, but for me, this is so freaking awesome. I still don't like how much they charge, but I can finally transfer to my friend's server! All I do is pvp anyway, and I'm stuck on an unprogressed PvE server -_-
