Bikes In Paradise Dated... It'll be A Real Burnout...

Krunal | September 12, 2008 | News | Playstation 3 XBOX 360
Many people have been waiting a very long time for this update and it seems it is finally here. Burnout Paradise will be patched with bikes on the 18th September 2008. In preperation for the update the official Playstation blog have also given us four new screenshots for the game featuring just that - motorbikes.
If you missed our earlier posts, here’s what’s coming:
  • Pick from 2 motorcycles featuring male or female characters and start on a whole new progression to earn your Bike License.
  • 38 new against-the-clock race events – Burning Ride and Midnight Ride.
  • A brand new in-game 24 hr day / night cycle that impacts traffic density and available events. (It’s fully customisable – you can make it day/night/change the clock speed – it’s up to you.)
  • Dynamic weather brings an all-new look to Paradise City.
  • And if that’s not enough, we’ve got 70 more Freeburn Challenges too.

Would the weather affect driving much? Would make it harder to pass some challenges than it was before.

Still, nice that it is dated. I wonder if trophies are still coming out before this update?

Question: Is the weather affect only for motorcycles or for cars as well?

It would be cool if the weather and day/night cycle reflects your area's at that moment.
For example: It's raining and 3:00 in the morning in real life where you live, so that's how it is in-game.

Yeah that would be a cool idea, but what if you live in for instance Washington state where it is usually cloudy and rainy or in the middle of Arizona where it doesn't rain often?
