Im sure some of you Motorstorm fans remember the the PSP version that was listed to be coming. Sadly it has been denied by Sony that it was a screw up and it will be taken off shortly. So I guess we got excited over nothing. :(

Speaking to VideoGamer.com this morning a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe spokesperson has confirmed that the listing is a mistake and that it will be removed shortly. So there you go. Maybe the fan excitement over the listing will give Sony a reason to consider bringing the MotorStorm series to PSP in the future, but it's not happening just yet.

Motorstorm fits best on PS3 anyway.

How do you even know that i might be annoyed at the demo not pleasing me but the game has never been on the PSP, it could be the best game on the PSP for all we know.

Motorstorm is all about chaos and things flying everywhere and being generally all covered in mud. On a PSP you can't really emulate that as well. It wouldn't feel like Motorstorm; rather it would just feel like a rally racer. ANd that's not what Motorstorm is.

Motorstorm has one game released who is to say they know what it is. Motorstorm 2 is predomenantly the same but Motorstorm 3 could be a track racer in the middle of New York, it could be a boat racer all Motorstorm is, is a name. Yeah the PSP might not be able to handle it like the PS3 does but the PSP does a very good job of most of its other games so why should Motorstorm not port down well.

One game is enough to secure a reputation through a name; look at Halo. Most people associate the word Motorstorm with brutal, dirty racing.

But yeah, the PSP is very versatile.

I have to agree with Red here, putting it on PSP would mean sacrificing a lot of the features which make it great (eg destructible cars, large and impressive tracks)

Still they'll probably do it anyway. It could work

They're doing Resistance: Retribution on PSP, I guess anything could really happen.
