Jack Thompson Blames Bill Gates on Virginia Tech Shooting

Blaming the Virginia Tech shootings on video games just wasn't enough for Jack Thompson. Now he blames Bill Gates, of the Microsoft Corporation, for publishing Counter-Strike years ago, which Cho Seung Hui allegedly played in his youth.

Unfortunately Jack Thompson failed to notice the pristine, untouched beauty, that is Mr. Bill gates. But instead, sent a nice little letter of hate and damnation to the corporation known as Microsoft. Cho Seung Hui, the VT shooter, was reported by some of his friends to be a fan of Counterstrike and other violent video games. Counterstrike is published by Microsoft and because our good buddy Cho obviously trained and prepared for slaughter using Microsoft owned material… well, that makes them completely liable for the 32 who died. Here’s the letter that Thompson sent to Microsoft.

    hold on the last sentence says here's the letter that he sent. but yet i dont see one. was this the letter or not. I just saw it. maybe mS is responsible who knows. idk about BG i mean he doesnt even make the game himself.

    Haha, this guy is just unbelievable. Cho did the shooting because his girlfriend left him for someone else, not because he was influenced to do it by video games. Does Jack Thompson try extra hard to be a moron, or is it natural? Someone really should put duct tape over his mouth.

      dont worry. and besides Cho's a nut case anyway. look at the site it says he had mental problems. and was taking medication for it. he's just trying to justify his actions. and if by doing so gets MS or bill sued he'll do it. he's a BS artist. he and Jack Thompson are talking crap as usual. your going to believe he did the shooting cause of that yea right. thats not even a reason. they need to stop talking crap. Cho needs to say im a crazy killing pyscho that hates ppl. he goes to jail and becomes some big bear man butt buddy, or something. blaming videogames is stupid. its like the same BS stuff like Imus. after 30 or plus years of making explicit jokes. he's says one thing and gets fired. WTH, talk about hypocrites. and now cause of that there blaming rap music, oh come on. rap music isnt the problem. its the ppl stupid enough to say it at the wrong time thats the problem.

    I'm just waiting for him to realize that M$ is at the root of all PC games, therefore M$ is responsible for everything and goes after them
