Starhawk Drives the Offensive

Introducing Waninkoko's Wii ISO Loader, a clever little program that allows you to play your legally backed up copies of Wii games on your Wii via a little bit of homebrew.
As seen in the video linked after the jump- users have successfully booted up, and played The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess right off of their Wii.
Not certain of when this will come out of work-in-progress status, but once it does one thing is certain; we are going to need that Wii-Storage Solution.
As the story goes, Waninkoko, the latest name to emerge from the hacking underground, has developed a "work in progress" v0.1 Wii backup ISO loader for the Wii Homebrew Channel that will run backed-up game ISOs converted with a "special program" -- no modchip required. If true then the whole thing smacks of the original Xbox font exploit that turned that console into a hackers playground and noisy, all-media playing powerhouse. In support of the claim, TehSkeen has posted a video demonstrating the loading and execution of a backup Zelda game.

This is a big step forward in homebrew for the Wii, and I personally can't wait to see Nintendo try to fight their way tooth and nail to prevent its evolution.
