The ever popular Steam service has two new games coming for its already large library: Crysis and Crysis Warhead. Crysis will be sold for $39.99, while Crysis Warhead will be $29.99.
Crytek and Valve have announced that both Crysis and the forthcoming Crysis Warhead will be released on Steam on September 17 in North America (18 worldwide), with pre-orders having already begun this weekend. The original Crysis will run you $39.99, and Crysis Warhead $29.99.
"Crytek is one of the industry's great success stories, emerging new technology and talent," said Gabe Newell, president and co-founder of Valve. "Crysis is one of today's leading PC franchises and delivering the original and Crysis Warhead via Steam is landmark for the platform."
Crysis Warhead, the follow up to last years Crysis, puts players in the roll of Sergeant Michael "Psycho" Sykes, as his story plays out on the other side of the island parallel to the events of the original Crysis. And as you're surly well aware by now, both games require some hefty hardware to run, so make sure and check those system requirements before plunking down your virtual cash.
