PS1 Downloads on PS3 Explained

Sony explains to IGN how PS1 downloads will work on the PS3.

"We'll be replacing the older PS1 games with fixed versions sometime in May," said SCEA manager, Al de Leon. "Once the new games are uploaded, you'll be able to download the games straight to your hard drive and play them from there."

    That sucks, I was waiting for a long time to download some of those old games. Now have to wait longer. My question is why didn't they fix this before the update?

    hell who cares. as long as it does allow you to load them up, i could care less when it happens. but one question can you still play the ps1 games from there disc's. i havent tried yet. been busy with god of war 2.
