Game Rentals Coming To Steam?

Game Rentals could be coming to Steam according to one rumor from GameViper.com. You will be able to rent games for different amounts of time, prices start at $5.
Several rumors have been floating around that Steam will begin offering game rentals to it’s users. According to one source, an upcoming Steam update will add this new functionality:

* Games will be up for rent at varying time lengths.
* Price points starting at $5.
* More games to be added to rental list.
* New category in Steam Store.
