3) Sam tried to bring Luke Skywalker to the Apprentice?
No one likes to be an asshole all the time. Sam mentioned that he wanted to bring as much of Luke Skywalker’s wide-eyed, naive nature to the Apprentice. He’s fun, he’s likable and so is his crew, so you definitely get a sort of Millennium Falcon vibe from the bunch. Even if they are going around killing all the good guys in the first few levels, you still like them. It goes a long way to making the characters feel more rounded.

4) Sam is playing Doomsday on Smallville?
He’s not really sure where they first heard of him, whether through Dexter or The Mist, but they called him up and asked whether he’d like to try the role.

How does he like playing the guy who may ultimately kill Superman? “He’s this really cool, likeable guy that they eventually pull apart, piece by piece.” Fans of the show should really get a kick out of seeing Doomsday’s fall into evil this season.

5) What else is Sam up to?
Sam is recording new music for his band, The Crashtones, which will be releasing a new album in the next few months. Hollywood has been pretty much taking up most of his time, but he’s hoping to do more music stuff in the near future.
