In Japan today, Sega held a press conference ahead of the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, highlighted some of its upcoming games, including Phantasy Star Zero, Shining Force Feather, World Destruction and Blazer Drive, all RPGs for the Nintendo DS. The major announcement is that the latest game in the Phantasy Star franchise, Phantasy Star Zero, will be releasing Christmas day in Japan, retailing for 5040 yen. Shining Force Feather still retains its Spring 2009 release date for now, while World Destruction has already been set to release on September 25th, and Blazer Drive on December 4th.

    Oh maaaaaaaan. I was so hoping for a Christmas release in the States. D=

    Not that it matters though; my pile of games to play is almost touching my ceiling fan, so I'll be busy for a while after the game is released even.
