No need to upgrade to an Elite any longer, now everyone can enjoy HD quality on all the Xbox 306 models without a hassle. That's pretty cool since it could save you a ton of cash.

Umm all the 360's models (premium, arcade, and elite) have had HDMI outputs for a long time. The only difference between the premium, arcade, and elite is that the elite comes with an HDMI cable. But if your 360 is old enough to need this kit then you should be more worried about sending it to Microsoft because you have the RROD. Also if your in that situation the price is too high to make this kit worth it. It would be much smarter to just buy an arcade 360, you get an HDMI port, a more reliable console, a wireless controller, and a memory card. All these extras for just a bit more money over the price of this adapter.

Not really, I've had my launch console for almost 3 years and it's doing just fine. But I might just make it have RROD just so I can get one of those new consoles with the HDMI and 65nm GPUs.

If your 360 does RRod Microsoft isn't going to give you a new console. They will have you send your 360 back to them so that they can fix it and put an Opus board in it,( Opus has a 65 nm CPU and a 90 nm GPU in it and no HDMI port.) or they may send you a refurbished 360 with it in it. And it's probably going to be awhile before Microsoft upgrades the boards they use in repaired 360's with 65nm GPUs.

I think the people that own 1080p TV's and also get these refurbished 360's are really the only ones that should consider getting this HDMI adapter.
