Tyranitar24 | September 16, 2008 | News | Company Misc
The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, "a civil rights organization working to achieve gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality" according to their official website, has revealed that game companies Microsoft, EA, and GameStop have all received perfect scores for the way they treat gays, bisexuals, and others who aren't straight.
Game-related companies which also received perfect scores include retailers Best Buy and Target; PC manufacturers Dell and HP; chip maker Intel; online auction site Ebay; and search companies Google and Yahoo. Also on the list, Apple, increasingly seeming like an up-and-coming game biz player.

Not much of a surprise, a lot of companies like to make use of a gay figure to go and add depth to a story or add another element to an NPC. Or just to go and make us question key moments in a game for what was really happening, like Shadow Hearts: Covenant managed a few times with the shopkeepers and Joachim's wrestling bits, etc, etc...

I think there talking about how they treat their employees rather than the games themselves.

People actually judge this shit? How the hell do they even determine if this is true? I think people have too much time on their hands.....just be gay and don't worry about what other people think. One day being called straight will be an insult. LOL

Anyway, I have NEVER seen a company treat anyone with discrimination, who could afford that type of lawsuit these days??
