Akira_EX | September 16, 2008 | News | DS
Earlier this week, you may have seen a news article stating that the latest game coming from The Pokémon Company and Nintendo, Pokémon Platinum had sold 740,000 copies in the first week. That number had been proven to be false due to faulty source data.

However, today, Japanese sales tracker Enterbrain has announced that Pokémon Platinum had sold 967,675 in its first week on the market. It released on a Saturday, so the game ended up selling that amount in two days. Please check back later in the week for the Famitsu top thirty and the Media Create top fifty software sales and hardware rankings for the Japanese market.
