In this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu Capcom's upcoming investivation sim Gyakuten Kenji, known as Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor informally, had an article giving some new details on the Ace Attorney series spinoff.

Two previously unidentified characters are now identified: Mikumi Ichijou, a self-proclaimed thief, and sports buff and prosecutor Makoto Yuuki. Gyakuten Kenji's gameplay is split up into three phases: Investigation, Logic and Confrontation; Edgeworth will be interacting with persons involved in the case, as he moves on in his investigation for evidence. There will be no court trial phases in this game.

Gyakuten Kenji will be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2008, but will not release until Spring 2009 in Japan. Scans are courtesy of Wii @ Everyday.
