Sexy New King of Fighters XII Screenshots of Sexy Sexy 2D HD

Some new screenshots showing some returning characters for SNK Playmore's upcoming HD 2D fighter King of Fighters XII were made available today. The returning characters pictured are veterans Leona Heidern, Ralf Jones, Robert Garcia, Ryo Sakazaki and Shen Woo. The Arcade board the game is using is the Taito Type X2.

Also announced is that King of Fighters XII will make an appearance at the 46th Amusement Machine Show (where Senko no Ronde DUO will also be) in Makuhari Messe, Tokyo from September 18th to September 20th.

The Arcade game will hit Japanese arcades in April of 2009. The recently announced PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions currently have unannounced release dates.

    Yay! Although the 3D KoF (Maximum Impact) games were pretty good, I'd rather see this fighting series in 2D. Can't wait for this next installment.
