Free guitar with Guitar Hero World Tour preorder

Twisted | September 18, 2008 | News | PC Playstation 2
If you pre-order Guitar Hero: World Tour in the UK, you'll get a free Guitar Hero bass guitar, which would be worth about $90. So you're getting the highly hyped game, and a free guitar. Only in the UK though.
Activision UK has announced “the biggest pre-order incentive the industry has ever seen” as it gears up for November’s anticipated release of Guitar Hero World Tour.

Gamers who pre-order the ‘super bundle’ – containing the game, drum kit, guitar and microphone – will receive a free Guitar Hero bass guitar, which currently retails for approximately £50.

“This programme signals our enormous commitment to Guitar Hero World Tour,” Activision’s marketing director for the UK and Ireland David Tyler told MCV.

It's probably only fair, considering that GH:WT will only be like $190 in the US. The article said that the game is 150 pounds in the UK, which converts to about $300, if I'm not mistaken. Even with the free $90 bass, you guys are still getting a worse deal, lol.

Too bad everyone else who isn't part of the US prices or UK free guitar deal are getting ripped off (kinda), like Aus.

Damn, I thought they were giving away a REAL guitar from the sounds of the title.
