In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, it is revealed that Vanillaware's upcoming Action RPG, Oboro Muramasa Youtouden, will be seeing a US release, being published by the partnership of XSEED Games and Marvelous Entertainment. This is one of the games that XSEED and Marvelous hinted that would be localized. The localized title for Oboro be Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and no release date has been announced as of yet.
Vanillaware is the developer responsible for the gorgeous 2D PS2 games Odin Sphere and GrimGrimoire, and is also responsible for Kumatanchi on the DS. Oboro Muramasa Youtouden will be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.
Yesterday, we learned that Marvelous Games has a few announcements in store. One is in relation to the DS and two other revelations for the Wii. Nintendo Power has shed light on one of the Marvelous surprises: Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Muramasa: The Demon Blade, otherwise known as Oboro Muramasa Youtouden, will be releasing in North America sometime next year. Now, who wants to take a crack at the other two announcements?
