Tom Crago, the president of the Game Developers' Association of Australia yesterday gave an overview of the development industry at GC Asia 2008. IGN luckily were there and gleaned a few details about L.A Noire. The project being developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar. According to him it is about a year from completion and coming to both the 360 and PS3. Though this has yet to be confirmed by the developers or publishers themselves.

Tom Crago, the CEO of Tantalus and the president of the Game Developers' Association of Australia, yesterday gave an overview of the Australian game development industry at GC Asia 2008, and IGN was there to nab a few little tidbits on L.A. Noire, the Rockstar-published game being developed out of Team Bondi in Sydney. No one has heard anything on the title for some time, but Crago confirmed that "it's got - I'd suggest - another year or so to go". He also mentioned that it "could be the biggest budget videogame in development anywhere in the world. It would certainly... in terms of console titles, be in the top ten... LA Noire is a massive massive project."

If it's one year from completion, I doubt anyone cares if it's multiplatform or not. I sure as hell don't.

Doesn't mean it can't go multiplatform, Sony can fund a game and still give the rights up to developer and publisher to say where it goes though i don't quite think Sony are funding this game as the publisher is the one that funds the project and the publisher in this case in Rockstar Games.

Keep in mind it wasn't actually from the devs themselves. Besides, you won't see this until Fall 2009.

Same. I'm reading L.A. Confidential atm and a game of that styling would be amazing.

This is exclusive. Rockstar said it themselves when they announced the game months ago. And considering its not done or even stated by RS, its not multiplatform.
