With hype like that everyone better hope the remastered DS version of the SNES game holds up. We can assure you that if you like RPGs, you'll love Chrono Trigger. The game is huge, (13 endings!) has great characters, solid battles and a wonderful soundtrack. It's no wonder so many RPGs have taken a page or two from Chrono Trigger.

Not to mention the new Kirby game being released tomorrow, based off the one Kirby game with the absolute most success.
