Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

There are so many hints that Hideo Kojima wants to make Metal Gear Solid 5, he might as well just confirm it.
Recently Kojima revealed that he already has three concepts ready for MGS5 and that if the team picks one of them, he'll have to get involved again.

quoteKojima:
I have three concepts for MGS5 already. What would be ideal for me with MGS5, though, is that we don't do those. If the team picks one of those concepts, I have to get involved again, which I don't want to do. There are already so many good ideas from the staff, so if we select one of those, that would be really good. At that point I could really rely on them and take the step back to be the producer, which is the ideal situation, I think.
Whatevs. We all know what's really going to happen! Those three concepts will be cobbled together to form one large, unwieldy concept, and you'll carry on as producer, complaining the whole time that Metal Gear Solid 5 will be your last MGS game.

MGS 4 wrapped up Snake's story. It did a great job of it. That doesn't mean that mankind is at peace. The world of MGS is ripe with story's that could be either continued or created.
If Kojima's heart is in making it...and it sounds like it is. Then there's no reason for him to not make the game.
Doesn't sound like his heart is in making it.
Metal Gear is a great franchise and it can live on... the question is, without Snake can it? MGS2 (which I loved) did the switcharoo, and it really depends on the strength of the new characters they create.
Personally I wouldn't mind a Metal Gear Akiba (lol) or Metal Gear Raiden (cyber of course... with arms re-attached).
Though I would still love to see Policenauts released in the states preferably packaged with a next-gen sequel.
Either way the team is going to be working on the nest Metal Gear. The question is just how involved will Kojima be.
I can see why some people would want it to be left alone, but, personally, I hope they keep dishing games out.
I mean, I look at it this way. For me, the games have just gotten better and better with each sequel, so I'm not reluctant for more to be made. And, if the next MGS game isn't better or as good as MGS4, I highly doubt it will be terrible.
As long as the series doesn't start to suck or get ridiculous/boring, I hope it never ends. I think most MGS fans could agree with that.
