Recent Star Wars movies had a crappy, kiddy-friendly story. Force Unleashed had a decent, darker story. Sold quite a few copies last week, too. So will George Lucas make a film based off the game? I mean, he's done stupider stuff.

Whatever your opinion of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, most will agree that the story would've made for a halfway decent Star Wars film. It'd at least be better than the prequels. So what are the chances of The Force Unleashed becoming a movie?

Movies based on games are usually crap. =(
Then again, so are games based on movies, and as Force Unleashed is based on a saga...

It makes so little sense, it just might work!

Though the reason why this is not impossible is that the story in Force Unleashed is canon, it is official it is the story as George Lucas penned it. This game has more possibility of being a movie as it probably was intended as such in the first place until they thought they could convey it through game far easily.

So a movie based on a game that's a sequel to the sequel of a sequel to a prequel, of one of the greatest movies of all time.

    Sounds good.

TFU is a sequel to 1, 2, 3 but prequel to 4, 5, 6. That makes better sense.

Anyway while it could be a good idea, I don't think he should.
      But thats just my thoughts.

I feel as though this game snaps to the prequel triligoy.

I'm bothered by all the people who say they never should have made Star Wars: The Clone Wars because it wrecks the "original six".

If anything it should be the original "three" upon which he added much later.

I support any new Star Wars films that come out, like the game they don't look to be boring. If they do bring this one out, it'll definitely be CGI too.

Hmm . . . It would be a little interesting to see the force used more in a star wars movie. . . Though I Seriously Doubt he'd make a movie out of it. It would be titled what? "Episode 3.5"? That sounds way too bad to me

I thought of that too. But that would be a subtitle Just like it's "Episdoe 4: A New Hope"

To call it JUST "The Force Unleashed" would also kinda separate it from the storyline a bit too much for a title. People would see it as a movie off on it's own instead of part of the storyline.

It should be a movie of it's own since it doesn't deal with the struggle of the Skywalker family.

If they made Star Wars: The Clone Wars, then it's obvious it'd be Star Was: The Force Unleashed. Considering it's not just a game, I see no reason not to stick to the original title.
