At Level-5 Vision 2008, Japanese developer/publisher Level-5 showed off its two upcoming PSP RPGs: Cardboard Senki and Ushiro, alongside a showing of Ninokuni's Magic Master book pack-in.

Cardboard Senki is a RPG where players will customize small LBX robots to do battle with one another in cardboard environments. The game is set in 2050, where LBX battling is all the rage now The LBX robots are like the plastic models of today, but much more customizable, with each able to be fitted easily with different parts.

Ushiro is a RPG where you take control of a shinigami who is able to possess people and experience their lives and help to solve their problems. The shinigami will also battle monsters along the way to helping their possessed souls.

Also pictured is Ninokuni's Magic Master book, which will come packaged with the game. Players will use the book to aid them throughout the game.

All three games are expected to come out in 2009. You can check out the rest of the pictures and screenshots over at the source.

Is this their shocking announcement? Something has to be done to really stop these companies from duping their own fans like this. This was like a clone of the Square event.
