Yesterday, the Bungie trailer that was released got opened up frame by frame and in a white font were the words "Maddie, where are you?". People in the UK might have been thinking of Madeleine McCann, a young girl who disappeared on a family vacation.

Bungie quickly took action, saying in this thread on their official site that the phrase has nothing to do with her.

With that squared away, there are other details that have been found in the trailer -- perhaps most notably a date of 01/06/09, which some have interpreted as a possible release date. There is also the Xbox Live Marketplace description for the trailer to take into account, which refers to the game as a "new Halo 3 campaign experience."

Obviously I knew it wasn't on purpose but I did make the connection.
