MAG is one of Sony's next big online shooters. With more then 200 players in a game, the servers will be packed. So a questionnaire went out to Playstation underground members asking them about subscriptions fees for MAG. It looks like Sony is going to charge a fee to keep the game up and running.
However, while some of you who aren't used to online fees - after all, the Network is free - you may be surprised to learn you'll have to fork over a little cash if you wish to play. As TheBitBag reports, PlayStation Underground just issued "A Little Survey for an Exciting New Game," and apparently, that game is MAG. They ask you 15 different questions all relating to possibly Payment options for the game, which means Sony probably plans to charge a monthly or yearly fee. Here's a snapshot of the survey, although none of the questions are shown. The survey does include other information; EA, Sony and Activision are all buddying up to handle the server for the game, for example. MAG is a truly colossal undertaking from top to bottom from what we saw, so it's no surprise to hear about the possibility of fees being involved. Some PS3 owners who really never used a PC or Xbox Live certainly aren't familiar with the MMO, and may think charging a fee is just plain terrible...but that's the way MMOs work, buddy.

Depends on the gameplay.
Don't they make enough off buying the game & expansion packs?
i don't mine it that much, but if i do pay i expect something worth the price of the fee.
Here's to hoping its not more than $10
CoD4= up to 16 people per server
Burnout Paradise= 4 people per server
MGO= up to 12 people per server
now i'm not the best mathematician but i'm pretty sure thats not 200+ people.
Im talking about MAG having 200+ people in one server. Thats why they need the money to keep them running smoothly, its not as hard to run 16 people on one server as it is to run 200+ people on one server.
