.. Well then, all you need to do is download PlayOn, - made by MediaMall Technologies - which allows you to stream video sites such as YouTube and Hulu over your network straight to one of those consoles.

To get it for free, follow the instructions to become a beta tester here.

Installing is easy as downloading the software to your pc, and then by going to your console and connecting to the PlayOn Media Server under your consoles respective settings.

Or... you could just use the PS3's built in browser to go to youtube.

but for the 360 i can see this as a nice bonus.

Yeah, I put together this thing. I think it called a personal computer. It works pretty well for that sort of thing.

I use to do it a fair bit. I had to make more room for classic VC games though.

A plus for 360 owners. PS3 and Wii owners can just go online with their internet browsers. It's pretty funny that the site mentions a Wii version is coming soon at the end of the year.

The Wii and PS3 can run Youtube videos fine, but the flash player installed on the Wii and PS3 Internet browsers is very basic and incompatible with Hulu and Netflix. So this program is a great idea no mater what console you use.

I really want this on the 360 just so I can use Hulu to watch shows that I've missed on my TV. But I guess I'll wait because I don't want to waste $100 for a tiny piece of plastic Microsoft calls a network adapter. So if anyone has tried this on a 360 could you please tell me how well this this works and if it's worth getting.

I haven't tried this program, but with TVersity, you can just go onto the program, click the Library, click "YouTube", then click "Add Item". From there, you can choose to add a particular YouTube username, a tag, the top favorites for the day/week/month/all time, etc. Then you just go on to the Xbox 360, go to the media tab, click on "Video", then press 'X' to change your video source, click on the one that says TVersity, then click on either "Internet Videos" or "My Videos". The first one will take you to the feeds you setup for YouTube and any other site. The second one will take you to what you have in your My Music or My Videos folders on your computer.
